| The Corporate Transactions Team at Bennett Verby have recently assisted Mr Simon Scott to establish Integral Recruitment Limited which specialises in the legal recruitment sector and is based in Manchester city centre. The deal team was led by Bernard Verby who is Managing Partner at Accountants Bennett Verby and worked closely with Simon Scott with the business planning and the structure of the deal. Bennett Verby have been retained by Integral as business advisors to help expand the company over the forthcoming years and are also their auditors and tax advisers. |

Press Release TAX BREAKS FOR BUSINESSES WHO RE-INVEST |
| New rules were introduced in last year's finance Act which enable companies to claim tax relief of 150% of their qualifying research and development costs when calculating taxable profit. This aalowance is only available to small and medium sized companies and under the new legislation has widened the scope for many more companies to benefit. Nick Lowe, Tax Partner at Bennett Verby says "We have advised many clients of the Practice on these new rules, all who have benefited and some saving tens of thosands of pounds tax thanks to the changes". |

| In January this year Bennett Verby restructured their Corporate Finance Department focusing it on the small and medium sized business sector with transaction sizes up to £10M in value, since it's expansion it has opened up offices in the centre of Manchester and Dublin and the Corporate Transaction Team at Bennett Verby have had a hands on involvement with deals as far away as Tenerife and Israel. Closer to home they have just completed another transaction for Manchester Entrepreneur - Andrew Black chairman of Black Magic Solutions Limited who recently acquired Brian Green Office Equipment Limited in Liverpool and they have retained Bennett Verby to acquire similar businesss across the North of England. Managing Partner Bernard Verby quotes "It has ben an interesting year since I have had a more hands on involvement with our Corporate Finance Team where we have seen both a number of quality instructions and completions of deals increase with the acquisition and disposals of going concerns, and we have also been able to raise substantial funds for a number of quality start up's ranging in size". Bennett Verby also has the advantage of having its own in house Corporate Recovery and Human Resources divisions in addition to the traditional tax and audit services which enables them to offer a complete in house service when looking at the employee side of a transaction or helping someone to restructure. It is planned within the next 12 months for both Corporate Finance and Corporate Recovery divisions to double in size, including people to work out of the Stockport and Manchester offices. |
